
The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported four new Covid cases and three recoveries in the region Wednesday.
According to Public Health, residents of Owen Sound, Arran-Elderslie, South Bruce Peninsula and Kincardine tested positive.
The testing and case counts data released by Public Health on Wednesday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, under a new reporting system to better align with provincial standards.
The active known case load in the region increased to 25, as new infections slightly outpaced recoveries. Two people from the area are currently hospitalized due to the virus.
There have not been any deaths attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any long-term care or retirement homes, or any schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
