Talks have centered on a March 7th game in Atlanta that would be a far-scaled-down version of the typical All-Star Weekend festivities.

Former Arizona Coyotes general manager John Chayka has been suspended by the NHL until the end of this calendar year for conduct detrimental to the league and game.
Chayka resigned in July prior to the Coyotes heading to Edmonton to participate in the NHL’s Return to Play.
The verdict reportedly is related to the multiple years remaining on Chayka’s contract with Arizona and his attempts to terminate the contract.
Under Chayka, the Coyotes were stripped of draft picks for violating the scouting combine policy of conducting physical testing of draft-eligible players.
MLBPA Denies Modifications
The Major League Baseball Players Association rejected a deal for a universal designated hitter and expanded playoffs,
MLB reportedly offered the union the implementation of designated hitters in both leagues if they agreed to an expanded playoffs,
The union opposed those measures along with the consideration to implement a pitch clock
Spring training is set to begin February 27th.
Opening day for the 2021 regular season is Thursday, April. 1st.
MLS Dates
Major League Soccer will commence with their regular season on April 3rd
The season will run through November 7th with the MLS Cup final scheduled for December 11th
In announcing the dates, the MLS said it is continuing to work with Toronto FC, Montreal and the Vancouver Whitecaps on the issue of travel restrictions between Canada and the U.S.
MLS said more details on the Canadian teams will be announced in the “near future.”‘
Milanovich Moves On
Scott Milanovich resigned from his position as head coach of the Edmonton Football Team in the Canadian Football League,.
Milanovich, who never coached a game for Edmonton due to the global pandemic, resigned to pursue NFL opportunities.
