A woman had to be airlifted to hospital, after a crash on Essa Road in Barrie.
A car and SUV collided just before 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon near Anne Street, trapping the woman inside her vehicle, while the other driver, reportedly fled the scene on foot.
The investigation closed the intersection for several hours.
Barrie Police have since released a photo of a suspect involved in the collision and anyone with information is asked to contact them.
