Five people, including one youth, have been charged following a home invasion in Goderich.
Police were called to a home on Bruce Street on January 16th, after reports of a break-and-enter in progress.
According to OPP, the suspects forced entry into a home and assaulted the victim, before ransacking the home and stealing some items.
While the suspects fled the scene, officers say they were later identified and taken into custody without incident.
Police have laid charges against a 35 year old woman from Goderich, a 35 year old man from Goderich, a 26 year old woman from South Huron, a 49 year old man from Huron East, and a 15 year old youth from Goderich.
Charges include Break & Enter, robbery, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
