A 70 year old man is facing attempted murder charges, following a stabbing in Goderich.
Police say they were called to a home on Widder Street Monday night, regarding a stabbing incident.
According to reports, the accused used an “edged weapon” to injure the victim, who was able to escape and call 9-1-1.
The victim was later treated and released from hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say.
A Goderich senior has been charged with Attempt Murder and Domestic Mischief.
