Any businesses in Huron County who benefit from tourism are invited to take part in a free online conference.
The County of Huron is partnering with Community Futures Huron and FedDev Ontario for the “Ontario’s West Coast Tourism Summit 2021.”
The two-day conference will be open to tourism operators and stakeholders on January 25th and 26th.
The first day of the summit will hear from tourism industry expert William Bakker of Destination Think, who will discuss tourism market trends with a focus on the tourism landscape, pre-COVID, and post-COVID.
Virtual attendees will hear from industry expert Chris Hughes from BC Hughes, who will discuss the advantages of rural tourism and how operators can use this advantage to match shifting tourism trends.
