Barrie Police have charged a 50-year-old man in connection with two robberies in the downtown.
The first happened at 7 pm last night at P_ZZA at 50 Dunlop Street East. The second occurred at 10:30 pm at the Circle K at 149 Dunlop St. East.
In both cases, the suspect fled on foot afterwards but he was eventually caught.
He’s now facing two counts of robbery, a weapons dangerous charge and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
Police recovered all the stolen money.
