The National Football League playoffs are set for this weekend; 3 games tomorrow and 3 more games on Sunday.
The winners will advance to their respective Conference semifinals next week where Kansas City in the AFC and Green Bay in the NFC are already waiting having earned a bye in the opening round based on having the best regular season records.
The games tomorrow have Indianapolis at Buffalo, The Rams at Seattle & Tampa Bay at Washington.
On Sunday the lineup is Baltimore at Tennessee, Chicago at New Orleans and Cleveland at Pittsburgh.
Straight up on the weekend, I’d say Seattle, Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Pittsburgh should win their games & advance.
Buffalo-Indy and especially Baltimore-Tennessee look to be very close games.
For the record, I’ll take Buffalo’s varied attack and Lamar Jackson & the Ravens on the road.
Against the spread, based on the Opening Lines this week, well, that’s a different story.
I’d say the Colts, Seattle & Tampa Bay will beat the spread on Saturday.
Then Sunday, I’ll take all 3 of the home teams against the spread calling for Tennessee, New Orleans & Pittsburgh.
We’ll see how I made out come Monday.
