Orillia OPP has charged eight people after they seized drugs and a loaded handgun in the City.
On Wednesday, shortly before midnight, police officers searched an Albert Street residence.
Along with the arrests, police say they found quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and other drugs and the handgun.
Six Orillia residents are among the accused. Charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking and drug possession.
A Mississauga resident faces firearm-related charges.
All the accused have court dates scheduled in Orillia on February 16th.
