Huron County OPP lead the force’s West Region with its number of R.I.D.E checks during the provincial police’s Festive RIDE Campaign.
183 R.I.D.E. checks were conducted between November 26th and January 3rd.
Six drivers were charged with impaired driving during that time, compared to eight in 2019.
The regional average for the number of drivers charged during the campaign was 10.5.
