Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Wednesday in Huron and Perth counties.
Only three of the new cases were announced in Huron, with two in North Huron, and a single case in South Huron.
For active cases, North Huron leads the county, with eleven.
The greatest number of infections have affected residents between 20 and 29 years of age, followed by those between 50 and 59.
Only four COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized.
