Georgian Bluffs residents are not required to bag tag their garbage to have it collected during the lockdown period.
The Township issued a news release saying as a result of the increased Covid-19 control measures announced by the provincial government on Dec. 21, health and safety is the top priority and residents are being encouraged to follow direction by Public Health and only travel for essential purposes.
The suspension of bag tags in Georgian Bluffs will remain active until Jan. 23.
“Upon said date all refuse placed curbside will require a bag tag to be collected as scheduled,” a release from the Township explains. “Garbage and recycling schedules will not be impacted throughout the lockdown period.”
Each residence is limited to four bags per collection.
