The Coast Guard has done some ice breaking in Midland Bay.
The U.S. Coast Guard cutter Katmai Bay went into the bay this morning to assist the ship Frontenac which arrived in Midland Bay on Monday afternoon.
The vessel is expected to depart the ADM grain dock tomorrow.
It’s also expected that the motor vessel Baie Comeau will be re-entering Midland Bay for winter layup on or about January 8, 2021.
