Huron County Warden Glen McNeil says he is proud of county staff for how they have handled a year of uncertainty.
In an end of year interview with Country 104.9 News, McNeil tells us elected officials are indebted to administrative staff with the county.
“For being under this pandemic pressure for ten months, and the way they have been so resilient, and they have responded to all of the needs that have been tasked upon them.”
While the province is now under lockdown until at least January 23rd, McNeil remains optimistic following news two COVID-19 vaccines have been federally approved.
“The upside is the end is in sight. As long as we don’t stumble in the near future, we are going to make it to home plate with the vaccine.”
McNeil says the pandemic has proven how resilient Huron County’s businesses and residents can be, and local media partners have been critical in getting important information to the public.
