The Simcoe County Paramedics Toy Drive has wrapped up for the year.
It resulted in the collection of 3,259 toys, 5,593 pounds of food, $25,536 in cash, and $3,100 in gift cards thanks to the generosity of the community and a number of significant donations from businesses and organizations.
All donations will be distributed to local children and families in need by charitable organizations, including the Salvation Army, Wasaga Beach Kinettes, Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions, and several local food banks including those in Elmvale, Tottenham, Orillia and Wasaga Beach.
Thank you North City and Experience Toys and Games for all of your donations. It is such an incredible feeling to see the community come together!!! https://t.co/NFbR99RqtD
