As a result of the lockdown, Blue Mountain Resort says it will suspend all ski operations starting the morning of Saturday, December 26. It says refunds will be provided for any lodging reservations and lift tickets dated during the shutdown period.
With the recent news from the Premier of Ontario, Snow Valley will cease operations from December 26th until hopefully January 23rd, 2021. We are working on plans for all our guests who have booked Snowschool Programs and rentals, season passholders, and pre-purchased ski lift and snowtubing products. These will be released in the coming days as we digest the regulations handed down from the province on December 21st.
Effective Friday December 25th at 9:00pm, the ski hill will be closed for the 28 day province-wide lockdown. Our leadership team is reviewing the new restrictions that were announced today in order to determine how the lockdown will impact other areas of operation at the resort. We will be addressing how the lockdown will affect season pass holders, snow school programs, pre-purchased lift tickets and hotel/condo bookings during the lockdown period over the coming days.
Effective immediately, for the remaining 3 days, the resort will only operate from 9am to 4:30pm and the final day of operation will be December 24th. Barring any further extension to this shutdown, it is hopeful that MSLM will re-open on Saturday January 23rd 9am to 9pm.
