NHL Season Start
The National Hockey League and the Players’ Association are pushing forward for a 56-game regular season beginning January 13th.
The 2 sides formally agreed to the concept yesterday.
The proposed schedule will be conducted over 116 days with 2 & 3 game series for each team in intra-division play
However, among the outstanding issues is getting approval from 5 provincial health authorities who have jurisdiction on whether NHL games can be played in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
Kuzma Kontract
Kyle Kuzma has agreed to a 3-year contract extension to remain with the NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers
Kuzma has been a key component of the Lakers’ core for 3 seasons since being acquired in a draft-day trade in 2017.
In 2018 Kuzma made the All-NBA rookie first team and averaged 18 points in his second pro season.
