Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says more vaccines are on the way.
Canada has secured agreements for up to 417,000 doses of Covid 19 vaccines ahead of schedule.
“This includes over 200,000 early doses of the Pfizer vaccine scheduled for next week,” he said. “And 168,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine before the end of December, pending Health Canada approval.”
Trudeau says in January another 125,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine will arrive each week for a total of about 500,000 doses for the month.
Trudeau says there will be guaranteed millions of doses in 2021, so every Canadian who wants a vaccine will get one.
