Two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Grey Bruce Tuesday (Dec 15).
They are in Meaford and the Town of the Blue Mountains.
With three recoveries, there are 31 confirmed active cases in the region and six active probable cases. Probable cases are not lab confirmed, but are symptomatic and are high-risk contacts of an active case.
Public Health says there are 231 High Risk Contacts associated with the region’s active cases.
Four people are currently hospitalized due to the virus.
No one has died locally from COVID-19 over the course of the pandemic.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at schools or daycares in Grey Bruce.
One long-term care home, Lee Manor in Owen Sound is under outbreak status after a health care worker on temporary placement tested positive.
