Public Health says six new cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday in Grey Bruce.
Two are in South Bruce and there is one each in Saugeen Shores, Hanover, Kincardine and Grey Highlands.
With three recoveries Sunday, there are 32 confirmed active cases.
The Health unit says there are five active probable cases. Probable cases are not lab confirmed, but are symptomatic and are high-risk contacts of an active case.
They say there are 199 High Risk Contacts associated with those active cases.
Three confirmed cases from Grey Bruce are currently hospitalized.
No one has died locally from the virus.
One long-term care home, Lee manor in Owen Sound has outbreak status after a health care worker on temporary placement tested positive.
There are no reported outbreaks in schools or daycares in Grey Bruce.
Meanwhile, the Grey Bruce Health Unit is working with the Bluewater District School Board to address a case of COVID-19 associated with Walkerton District Community School.
They say while there is an individual with COVID-19 associated with this school, their assessment, to date, indicates there is no evidence that transmission took place within the school environment.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks.
No bus routes of any schools are involved with this case.
Public Health says it is the lead in all outbreaks and case management. They say they will contact you if you have had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, based on a thorough risk assessment completed only by Public Health.
The Health Unit says determining who has had close contact is a decision that can only be made by Public Health.
