
The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported four new Covid cases and six recoveries in the region Tuesday.
According to Public Health, residents of Hanover, Grey Highlands, Meaford and Kincardine tested positive.
Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra says two of the new cases are close contacts of previously confirmed cases already in self-isolation and being monitored by Public Health.
There are now 26 active known cases in Grey Bruce, as recoveries slightly outpaced new infections Tuesday. Two people are currently hospitalized in the area due to the virus.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have not been any deaths attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any long-term care or retirement homes, school or daycares in the region.
