The 81st annual CFOS-Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast is set to go on Sunday afternoon.
Things are a bit different than usual this year due to Covid restrictions. There is no public concert at the Roxy Theatre, and the fundraising event will instead be conducted out of the Bayshore Broadcasting studios.
It will still feature an array of local musicians who have submitted recordings for the fundraising effort. The live broadcast will air from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 560 CFOS Sunday. It can also be streamed online at 560cfos.ca.
Donations can be made during the broadcast through phone pledges by calling 519-376-2250 (then press 5). You can also visit any RBC Branch in Grey and Bruce counties until the end of January to contribute to the CFOS-Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast.
Last year, the CFOS-Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast raised more than $32,000. A fundraising auction held on Friday to kick-off this year’s campaign brought in more than $3,600.
