A teenager from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh is facing a dozen charges, following a chase with police around the Town of Goderich.
OPP say they responded to a weapons-related call along East Street in Goderich Wednesday, and learned a weapon was swung at a victim before the suspect fled the scene in a pickup truck.
After attempting to stop the suspect, police say the driver fled and raced through Goderich at high speed while officers did not pursue.
During the evening, officers were called to Goderich’s Huron Haven where the suspect was arrested.
A 19 year old Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh man is facing charges for assault, uttering threats, and flight from police.
