The Georgian Bay Furniture Bank is hoping you can help.
The non-profit organization relies on community donations of furniture and kitchen items for families in need in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Thornbury and the Stayner area.
The Furniture Bank says it is trying to raise funds to pay for a new truck to tow its trailer because the old vehicle broke down.
Without a vehicle to tow the trailer, they can’t pick up or deliver the items.
The money is needed by the end of December 2020.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up with a goal of five thousand dollars to go towards the purchase of a vehicle.
As of 1:30 pm this afternoon (Wednesday), $4,725 has been raised.
