Public Health Grey Bruce says it is working with the Bluewater District School Board to address a case of COVID-19 associated with Hillcrest Elementary School in Owen Sound.
They say currently there are no outbreaks, (evidence of transmission from person to person, in any schools or childcare centres, in Grey Bruce). The associated bus route has been deemed low risk for all that are involved with this case.
The Health Unit says the family of the case who tested positive has been contacted and they’re working with the family and School Board to identify others, both in and out of the school environment, who may have been exposed and to determine their risk level.
They say they’ll contact you if you’re considered at risk or a close contact.
