Impaired driving charges have been laid, after a vehicle was found in the ditch in the Township of Ramara.
Just after 3am Thursday, police were called about a vehicle in the ditch on Concession Road 12 at Sideroad 25.
Officers arrived and after speaking with the driver, she was arrested.
Police say as a result, Cora Lindsay, age 27, of Severn, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol, contrary to Section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), contrary to Section 320.14(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking and is set to appear on January 19, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
