The Federal government is making changes to try to keep us all safer.
Officials announced today that as of midnight tonight, there will be amendments to the Quarantine Act.
The new rules mean that everyone coming into Canada by air, sea or land, regardless if they have Coronavirus symptoms or not, will have to self-isolate for 14 days.
The government says that these people must not isolate where there are vulnerable people.
If people coming into Canada don’t have an isolation plan made in advance, they will have to go where it is mandated by the Chief Public Officer of Health.
That can include staying at a hotel.
