Huron and Perth counties have now been moved to the “Yellow – Protect” level of the provincial COVID-19 response framework.
“Yellow – Protect” is the second of five levels of public health measures, meant to help control the spread of COVID-19.
For Huron-Perth, that means social gatherings, like barbecues, will be limited to ten people indoors, and 25 outdoors.
Organized public events will be allowed 50 people indoors, and a hundred outdoors.
Religious services, weddings, and funerals will be allowed to operate at 30 per cent capacity indoors, and a hundred people outdoors.
Workplace screenings for COVID-19 will also be required, while face coverings will also be required indoors.
Huron-Perth is among seven other health regions under the “Yellow – Protect” measures.
