The Salvation Army of Goderich and Clinton is hoping to exceed the previous year’s fundraising in the 2020 Christmas Kettle Campaign.
This year’s edition of the Kettle Campaign kicks off Friday, and runs through December 24th.
Lieutenant Derek Kerr says the 2020 fundraising goal is $96 thousand.
The money raised helps to fund several programs at the Goderich and Clinton Salvation Army locations, including a backpack program for school kids, a winter coat rive, and food bank.
Kerr says volunteers are needed for kettles at various retail outlets across Goderich, Clinton, and Kincardine.
