One of the most decorated Canadian war veterans, and Collingwood resident, is disappointed this Remembrance Day.
Honourary Lieutenant General of the Canadian Armed Forces, Richard Rohmer, says not being able to gather this year in person is hard on Canada’s veterans.
96 year old Rohmer says November 11th is to remember the wars they fought and the companions they lost.
He says it’s not the same when you can’t formally and ceremonially recognize the sacrifice that all the fallen heroes made.
