A 27-year-old Orillia man has been charged after a serious assault in the city.
Yesterday, just before 4 pm, police were notified of an assault with a weapon that happened at a residence on Elgin Street.
Police found an injured man who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and was held for a bail hearing today in Barrie.
