Brown With Bucs Sunday
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League officially activated Antonio Brown from the suspended list.
Coach Bruce Arians said that Brown will have a role in Sunday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Buccaneers signed Brown last week to a 1-year deal for a base salary of $750,000, with incentives that could push the value to $2.5 million.
Elway & Ellis Test Positive
Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway and team president Joe Ellis both tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
Both Elway and Ellis have minor symptoms and will continue to work from home and in self-isolation and participate in virtual meetings
The Broncos say no players or coaches came into close contact with either Elway or Ellis recently.
NBA Season Vote
The National Basketball Players Association could vote on two return-to-play plans negotiated with the NBA this week,
The first plan would see the league resume on December 22nd and play a 72-game season.
The second plan would see the league resume on January 18th with a 60-game schedule.
Both plans would see team travel reduced by 25 per cent from a normal season.
The biggest difference is that the first plan is the only one that would allow the NBA to capitalize on the major revenue created from games on Christmas Day.
