Huron and Perth counties now total six COVID-19 related deaths, following the passing of a resident of the Cedarcroft Retirement Home, in Stratford.
Officials with Huron Perth Public Health say the deceased resident had underlying health conditions, and became sick with the novel coronavirus last week.
Huron Perth Public Health continues to work closely with Cedarcroft to support case and contact management and infection control.
As of November 3rd, there are 9 confirmed cases associated with this outbreak – 7 residents and 2 staff.
Huron and Perth counties currently have a combined ten active cases of COVID-19.
