The Town of Huntsville would like to remind residents and visitors that there is no overnight on-street parking from November 1 to April 15.
From November to April, on-street parking changes to accommodate snow plowing and snow removal. In addition to no overnight on-street parking, there are a few streets where daytime on-street parking is also restricted in the winter months. This includes parking at the end of dead-end streets, which makes it difficult for the plow truck or sander to turn around, causes delays in operations and is a safety concern.
Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed at the owner’s expense. In an effort to educate the public on the winter parking rules, for the first couple of weeks of November, or until the first significant winter event, the Town will issue warning cards to vehicles parked in prohibited areas.
Don’t forget. Winter parking rules take effect next week. Please remember there is no overnight on-street parking from November 1st to April 15th.
