A 33-year-old New Tecumseth man is facing a sexual assault charge in Newmarket.
In September, a 24-year-old woman reported she’d been sexually assaulted.
She reported that a man contacted her through Facebook posing as a photographer, offering to take free photos of her to help build a modelling portfolio.
During the photoshoot, he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
On October 15th the suspect, Sanoop Vadukoot, was arrested and charged

The accused has a court date in Newmarket January 26th.
