Drive-thru workers in Exeter helped to get an impaired driver off the road.
Huron OPP say they received a call Tuesday from a restaurant on Main Street North, about a possible impaired driver who was recently served.
Officers say they arrived to find the vehicle still parked at the restaurant, and a field sobriety test was performed, which the driver reportedly performed poorly on.
Police say the driver was deemed impaired, after being taken to an OPP detachment.
A search of the vehicle, according to officers, turned up a quantity of cannabis over the legal limit, as well as suspected fentanyl.
A 39 year old from South Huron is facing impaired driving and drug charges.
