A 40 year old father of three in Wasaga Beach has won the lottery.
The OLG says Scott Paterson has won 150 thousand dollars with The Bigger Spin Instant game.
He says he scratched his ticket, winning an in-store spin and his heart was pounding when the spin landed on $150,000.
He says he kept thinking, “please don’t have a heart attack”.
The construction worker says he told his wife the big news when he picked her up from work, but she didn’t believe him. “I’m a bit of a prankster. She’s waiting in the truck for me today and still doesn’t believe me.”
Paterson plans to pay some bills and talk to a financial advisor about his next steps. “This win is a huge opportunity for my kids – I want to make the most of it for them.”
