Chiefs Sign Bell
The Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League have signed running back Le’Veon Bell.
Bell, who was released by the New York Jets earlier this week, is signing with the Chiefs on a one-year deal.
USport Cancels Championships
There will be no national championships in Canadian university sport this school year
U Sports has cancelled their national tournaments because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Roughly 20,000 student-athletes participate in varsity sport at 56 schools across Canada.
Walker Has two Contenders
Tomorrow night at Woodbine Mohawk Park, the Ontario Sire Stakes Super Final will be staged with 8 Championship races, all of which have a purse of $ 250,000.
Trainer Paul Walker of Owen Sound has two horses competing Saturday; Imextraspecial in the 2 year old filly trotter race & Pemberton which is co-owned by Walker’s wife, Brenda and their daughter Christine, which will compete in the 3 year old colts & gelding trotter division.
