Dustin Johnson tested positive for the coronavirus, forcing him to withdraw from the PGA CJ Cup at Shadow Creek.
The Tour said in a statement that Johnson notified officials he was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and was given another test that came back positive.
Johnson, the reigning PGA Tour player of the year after winning the FedEx Cup, has not played since the U.S. Open last month.

Antler Installed
Ben Antler of Port Elgin has been promoted to be the new Head Coach of the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks.
After 2 seasons as an Assistant Coach, Antler will take the helm of the Western Ontario Hockey League Senior club when play resumes in the Fall of 2021.
Also, Jeff Barfoot will remain with the Winterhawks as an Assistant Coach

Antler Promoted to Winterhawks Bench Boss
The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks announced the hiring of Ben Antler as the team’s new Head Coach on Tuesday.
The Port Elgin native has spent the past two seasons as an Assistant Coach and will now assume the head coaching duties.
” We’ve been impressed with Ben’s progression over the past two seasons and it felt like the time was right to let him take the reins, ” said General Manager Ryan Brown.
Antler becomes the fifth head coach in Winterhawks history.
Jeff Barfoot will remain a member of the coaching staff as an Assistant Coach, a position he has held alongside Antler for the past two seasons.
Further additions to the coaching staff will be announced at the appropriate time.
The organization is continuing to prepare for the return of the WOAA Senior ” AA ” Hockey League in the fall of 2021.
