The Ministry of Long-Term Care has issued a Mandatory Management Order appointing Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre to temporarily manage the Simcoe Manor Home for the Aged.
The Province says it’s on behalf of the Corporation of the County of Simcoe in Beeton.
Ontario’s Minister of Long Term Care Dr. Merrilee Fullerton thanks staff at both facilities for working together to end the Covid-19 outbreaks.
To date, 33 residents at the Manor and 19 staff have contracted the virus. So far, there have been 4 deaths.
