A couple of people have already thrown their hats into the ring to seek the Conservative Party of Canada nomination in Simcoe North, following Bruce Stanton’s retirement.
They include:
Marcus Mattinson, a bilingual communications professional from Orillia

and Toyin Crandell, who owns a financial coaching company in Victoria Harbour.

Orillia’s Ward 3 Councillor Mason Ainsworth has also announced that he intends to run for the federal Conservative nomination in Simcoe North.
Bruce Stanton announced in June he would not seek re-election.
