There are a couple of all-candidates meetings coming up in the Town of the Blue Mountains.
One is presented by the Escarpment Corridor Alliance and is set for Monday, September 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Beaver Valley Community Centre in Thornbury.
Another is presented by the Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce at the Marsh Street Community Centre on Tuesday, October 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The chamber says on its website, “Discussion will focus on economic matters affecting local businesses and residents, including tourism, business attraction and retention, workforce development, housing, infrastructure, responsible growth, and the municipality’s role in supporting a strong and resilient local economy.”
They add, “The evening will conclude with a chance to mingle and talk with the candidates one-on-one.”
