Wasaga Beach has unveiled its Destination Wasaga Master Plan, a long-term vision for the community’s waterfront, downtown and tourism future.
The plan includes about 4.5 kilometres of new boardwalk, new bike paths and improvements to waterfront parkland.
It also proposes a new entertainment venue on the Dardanella site and a pedestrian bridge across the Nottawasaga River.
The province has committed 38 million dollars toward the plan.
