The Wiarton Fall Fair is set to go this weekend.
It’s taking place Friday and Saturday (18-19) at the Wiarton Arena and Bluewater Park. The theme this year is ‘country charm on the farm.’
The Wiarton and District Agricultural Society says tonight’s events kick off at 6:30 with opening ceremonies, a horse pull, farmers’ olympics, face painting and exhibits.
Saturday will feature a harvest breakfast, classic car show, animal competitions, baby show, sheep shearing, bouncy castle, mini golf and games, mini farmers’ olympics, kids’ tractor pull, exotic animals show, and entertainment.
There are livestock shows, baking, food, crafts, quilt show, and plenty of other things to see and do.
Organizers say, “Come spend the weekend with us and experience everything that makes the fall fair such a special tradition in our community.”
