An early morning crash on Hwy 26 near Edenvale has taken the life of a Wasaga Beach man.
Huronia West OPP say they were called to the area of Highway 26 near Strongville Road for a two-vehicle collision involving a motor vehicle and a dump truck.
As a result of the collision, the motor vehicle driver, a 28-year-old resident of Wasaga Beach, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the dump truck suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact Huronia West OPP or Crime Stoppers.
As of 3:30pm, Hwy 26 was fully closed at the crash site.
