Saugeen Shores Police are asking the community for information after a driver failed to remain at a crash in Port Elgin.
They say on Labour Day Monday, September 7th, at about 9 p.m., a gold Lincoln sedan was sideswiped by an unknown pickup truck while northbound on Goderich Street near Ivings Drive.
According to police, the unknown truck then allegedly brake-checked the sedan causing a secondary collision. (When a driver in front suddenly slams on, or taps their brakes to cause the vehicle behind to slow or stop).
They say the truck was last observed on or near James Street and Waterloo Street, and that it will have passenger side damage.
Saugeen Shores Police say, if you have any information in relation to this incident to call 519-832-2500 or submit a tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
