A regional history museum in the Owen Sound area will be temporarily closing for some renovations.
Grey Roots Museum and Archives will be closed from Sept. 15 to Oct. 14 for roof replacement.
The closure will ensure the safety of visitors, staff and contractors while work is underway. During this period, the museum building, exhibits and public programming will be inaccessible.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we complete this important infrastructure improvement,” says Jill Paterson, manager of Grey Roots Museum and Archives. “This investment will help protect the museum and its collections for years to come.”
Grey Roots Museum and Archives is scheduled to reopen to the public on Oct. 15.
