Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey, Bruce and West Simcoe (BBBSGBWS) is holding the 10th anniversary of its Golf Fore Kids’ Sake Charity Tournament at the Sauble Golf & Country Club on Sept. 12.
Over the past nine tournaments, Golf Fore Kids’ Sake has raised more than $95,000 to support local mentoring programs, which help more than 600 youth, families, and volunteers annually.
“We’re incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone with the community that has made it possible,” says Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey, Bruce and West Simcoe Beth Aubrey. “For 10 years, golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners have come together to invest in brighter futures for local young people. Every swing, sponsorship, and donation strengthens the network of support around children and youth in our community, helping ensure they have the relationships, guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to be successful.”
The event features on-course contests, premium prizes, an enhanced silent auction and raffle, a banquet, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate 10 years of community impact, all while supporting local children and youth.
Big Brothers Big Sisters runs no-cost mentoring programs, ensuring that children and youth across Grey, Bruce, and West Simcoe have access to trusted mentors.
