The Owen Sound Attack and Oshawa Generals made a trade.
The Attack announced Friday afternoon forward Caden Taylor, 19, has been sent to the Generals in exchange for two OHL Priority Selection picks, London’s fourth-round selection in 2028 and a conditional 15th rounder (Oshawa) in 2030.
“On behalf of the Owen Sound Attack organization, we would like to thank Caden for his time and effort during his tenure with the team. We wish him the best of luck in Oshawa and the remainder of his hockey career,” Attack President and General Manager Tyler Nother says in a statement.
The conditional pick Owen Sound is receiving will become a 2029 third-round selection (GUE), if Taylor scores more than 20 goals for the Generals during the 2026-27 season.
Taylor, a former first-round, ninth overall pick in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, departs the Attack after coming to Owen Sound in a trade with the Peterborough Petes in the early stages of the 2025-26 campaign. He scored 10 goals and had 25 points in 38 games for the Attack.
