Dufferin OPP are investigating a serious collision in Melancthon involving a motorcycle.
At around 5:40 yesterday evening, police were called to River Road between Mill Street and Mulmur-Melancthon Townline following a single-vehicle collision.
The initial investigation revealed a group of motorcyclists were traveling along River Road when one of the riders left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a Toronto area trauma centre.
The road was closed for several hours while investigators were at the scene.
